“Thank you for taking exceptional care of Dorothy. I have been her sole caretaker since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2008. My children have long urged me to hire help, but I refused to due to guilt and the feeling that “no one could care for her like I do”. It took a few weeks to figure out who she would be most receptive to and not become combative. Once we figured that piece out, it was smooth sailing! It allowed me to get a much needed break which I didn’t realize I needed, golf a little and have lunch with some old buddies. Thank you Able for allowing me to leave the house twice a week with peace of mind and contentment – I don’t know what I’d do without you. Besides you don’t even have to drive to my house!”

“My mother, Shirley, used Able Nurses and Therapists after she had her stroke in February. Her recovery process was long and hard, but we couldn’t have done it without you! Even though mom never regained all her strength and requires some assistance now, we could make a smooth transition by hiring your home care aides who she was familiar with already and they knew her. Your staff is the “bright spot” in her day with all your encouragement and kind words. I can’t be there as often as I’d like to, but have the peace of mind that she is being well cared for. I can’t thank you enough and would recommend you to anyone I know in need.”
“Your nurses were the best! Thank you Able for all that you do. When we need help again, you will be the first people we call.”

Dear Staff at Able,
“Your dedication to my mom, Sally, three times a week this past year has been an amazing addition to her life. After dad died, whom she was inseparable with, she was lonely and depressed hardly leaving her apartment in Royal. We almost moved her back to Georgia to be closer to my sisters and me. My mom was very opposed to us hiring Able, and sometimes flat out refused to answer her door which most of you probably remember! In a short amount of time we all saw a big transformation in moms attitude and zest for life again. We increased her time with you to three days a week which she grew to look very forward to. In fact, us kids at times laughed because mom talked more about you than us! Whether it was playing cards, walking outside, going to the store or doctor appointments with mom, you all have made a tremendous positive impact. She has made new friends in her building and has a very busy social life at The Palms of Largo! Thank you all for your compassion and dedication to caring for ones in need.”
